It has been a while since I have felt that 7 am winter breeze. It was a fresh announcement of a beautiful day. Walking to the bus while holding my coffee and wearing my smile to start a lovely day. A beautiful day I have always ignored as ever-lasting. During this period of tranquility, my close friend said to me, “Lucky you spending so much time home! It feels like heaven!” While hearing her telling me these words, so many thoughts came up to me like a flowing river. Am I, now, that comfortable spending so much time at home?
It was an endless loop that we have been ignoring. The change of our daily routine from
doing our activities with a great company in a mesmerizing place to the confinement has always seemed so easy yet it became so hard. As human beings, sometimes, we feel the urge to share, to help, and to be helped in our societies. These interactions were enough to make life meaningful.
Nowadays, new ways of life are inevitable. Thus, a lot of self-motivation is needed. As MENNA, we felt a huge responsibility to put the focus on the importance of mental health and voice the youth’s concerns.
