If You Are a Student and Your Life Was Affected by the Pandemic, Clap Your Hands!

Updated: May 3, 2021

Hard and consistent work is surely the key to success. That is what I’ve always believed in as well. As a student, I’ve been trying to do my best to ensure a better future for myself. But never have I imagined that one day everything would suddenly stop and all the work that I’ve done would go to waste. It all happened suddenly without any warning. It seemed like all my dreams were futile and everything has changed irreversibly.

These negative thoughts and feelings did certainly come to many of us during these hard times which the world is experiencing. I’ve personally found it hard to continue studying and focusing on my dreams and goals. Everybody must have felt desperation and loneliness at some point. Yet, while these anxieties can sometimes seem insurmountable, there’s one thing that one should always keep in mind: we are all in this together! The whole past year has been full of uneasiness and uncertainty. We thought things would end soon, but it looks like we have to be even more patient until things get better. It was undoubtedly hard to adjust to the new routine of studying and working, but things seem to be getting easier gradually as we grew used to it.

Don’t get frustrated if these transitions take longer than expected. We’re all juggling many different things at once; feelings of fear and anxiety are completely understandable under the current circumstances. As we all know, physical and mental well-being is always a priority! Let’s try to stay positive and strong! Remember that this situation is temporary. Be bigger than your fears and don’t give up on your dreams.
